Tactical FPS "VALORANT", new game mode "Replication" is implemented today for a limited time!

A new game mode called "Replication," in which all players on the same team use the same agent, has been implemented in the PC tactical FPS game "VALORANT" until May 25, 2021 (Tuesday).

Released in June 2020 in numerous regions around the world, "VALORANT" is a 5-on-5 tactical FPS for the PC that allows players to enjoy highly tactical shootouts with characters that have unique abilities and a variety of guns. The game also emphasizes competitiveness, and the maps are designed in such a way that players can always enjoy fresh battles no matter how much they play.

The new game mode "Replication" implemented this time has the same rules as Unrate, but all players on the same team use the same agents. Credits earned are fixed for each round, and the team that wins the first five rounds wins.

The goal of "Replication" is to provide a more casual venue to enjoy "VALORANT" while offering a gaming experience that feels novel and unique. It is a mode that allows casual players to enjoy an unusual gameplay experience in a solo queue. It will also be an attractive mode for mid-core players because of its deep strategic nature and the ability to explore plays that cannot be realized with the usual rules.

Note that "Escalation" will be temporarily replaced by "Replication," and after "Replication" ends, the mode will transition to "Mode Rotation Strategy" (tentative name). This is a mechanism whereby an existing game mode is made playable for a certain period of time, and at the end of that period, another existing mode will become playable. Details of the "Mode Rotation Strategy" will be released soon, so please look forward to it.

About the VALORANT Champions Tour
After a record-breaking closed beta that achieved the highest number of simultaneous viewers on Twitch with over 1.7 million, VALORANT has quickly established itself as the fastest growing eSport of 2020. And to support the VALORANT competitive scene, Raiatt Games launched the VALORANT Champions Tour, which will run throughout the year. The tour has three stages: Challengers, Masters, and Champions. Teams that win the regional "Challengers" stage will qualify for the international "Masters" stage and then go on to compete in the "Champions" stage. The "Champions" is a two-week long tournament in which only one team will be crowned VALORANT World Champion. The season-long competitive tour will take place in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
