Ultraman is a new dad! CG animated feature film "Ultraman" co-produced by Netflix & Tsuburaya Productions!

It was announced that Tsuburaya Productions and Netflix are co-producing the CG animation feature film "Ultraman (original title)".

Tsuburaya Productions has begun production of an original live-action PV for the "ULTRAMAN" anime. Ryohei Kimura & Takuya Eguchi appear in the film!

In the past, Netflix and Tsuburaya Productions have co-produced the anime series "ULTRAMAN" (Season 2 already announced).


Now, the CG animated feature film "Ultraman" will join Netflix's rapidly expanding lineup of original animated feature films. Teaser art and comments from director Shannon Tindle and CEO Tsuburaya Productions have been released.


<Synopsis
Ken Sato, a baseball star, is a superhero, Ultraman, who protects the earth.
Satou returns to Japan to take on this role, but soon after his return, he finds himself unexpectedly tasked with fostering a baby monster, the child of his "sworn enemy"...
While struggling as a member of the team and as a new father, Ken confronts his own ego, his estranged father, and the rise of the radical monster defense force, and discovers the true meaning of being Ultraman.

It has been a dream of mine for many years to make this film. My original story, born out of my love for Eiji Tsuburaya's Ultraman, was fortunate enough to come to fruition as a film. I am truly grateful to Tsuburaya Productions for their incredible trust and to the Netflix Animation Department for their support.
