Yakusoku no Neverland" is an anime work based on a popular manga series in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha), written by Kaiu Shirai and drawn by Posuka Demizu. The series was completed in the 28th issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" (June 15, 2020), and the total number of copies sold worldwide up to volume 20 has exceeded 25 million. It was ranked second in the Comics Division of the 3rd "Next Comic Award" and first in Takarajimasya's "This Manga is Amazing! 2018", and many other domestic manga awards.
The TV animation is directed by Mamoru Kobe, with series composition by Toshiya Ohno, character design by Kazuaki Shimada, and music by Takahiro Obata. CloverWorks is in charge of animation production.
