Days Gone" is now available for PC! Survival tips from the development team!

Sony Interactive Entertainment today launched the PC software "Days Gone" on Steam, Epic Games Store and other digital stores on May 19, 2021.

DaysGone is an open-world survival action game released for PS4 in April 2019. The game depicts the anguish, conflict, and struggle of survivors trying to survive as humans in the midst of a global pandemic.

The PC version of this title offers more beautiful graphics, support for ultra-wide monitors, and keyboard and mouse support for action unique to PC.

Welcome to Fairwell, Oregon - a beautiful place surrounded by majestic mountains, lush forests, and snowy regions.... It has been a little over two years since the collapse of human society, and the world has been transformed by a threat known as the Freaker, who has changed everything. The protagonist Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter on the road, is forced to fight for his survival against hordes of freakers, wild animals, and other survivors.

Riding his sidekick's motorcycle across the deserted roads and across the transformed Pacific Northwest, he searches for redemption, hope, and the meaning of life in this epic open-world survival action game. Finally available today for PC.

Explore the beautiful, chaotic, and realistic "living" world of Days Gone. Explore the ever-changing weather system in the high desert and its impact on the surroundings. Be prepared to drive off the beaten path and use every weapon at your disposal to stay alive for as long as possible - the world is always out to get you.

Days Gone" for PC gives you immediate access to "Survival" mode, "Challenge" mode, and bike skins. New Game Plus" will become available upon completion of the main storyline.

■New Game Plus
After completing the storyline, players can once again get back on the bike and start riding in New Game Plus. In New Game Plus, you can carry over the bike upgrades, weapons, skills, upgrades, craft manuals, trust and credits for each camp, collections, trophies, etc. that you have acquired so far to enjoy the new story.
All of these are unlocked as soon as you start the game, making Deacon's journey a little easier. In addition, New Game Plus adds new weapons.

If you are new to Days Gone, don't worry. For new drifters, the development team has released some survival tips.

■ Hordes
Freaker hordes are a formidable threat in "Days Gone," varying in number from 25 to 500. Defeating the hordes requires strategy, ammunition, traps, and an escape route. Use the following tips to plan a safer route to increase your chances of success.

Tip 1: Drive the freakers into a narrow corridor, clogging them up and opening a line of fire. Then, throw "attractors" at nearby burnable crates or barrels to lure the horde to your location, where you can blow them up and take them down.

Tip 2: Keep your bike parked nearby so that you can replenish ammunition from your saddlebags (available as an upgrade).

NERO Location
During your journey, look carefully for NERO checkpoints. These checkpoints contain valuable items such as Deacon upgrades, craft materials, access to gun lockers, and gasoline.
Also hidden in the NERO checkpoints are "NERO injectors" that can upgrade either stamina, focus, or strength. Each of these upgrades is extremely effective and can be the key to life or death in any situation.

Tip: Upgrade your stamina first. Even if you are not ready to fight, you can escape if you have enough stamina.

The Freaker's Nest
When you encounter a nest of freakers, we recommend that you burn it down as quickly as possible. Prepare enough Molotov cocktails or use incendiary crossbow bolts to set the nest on fire. Freakers sleep in these nests during the day, so finding the nests will give you a rough idea of where the freakers are likely to be.
At night, however, many freakers roam the area, so be very careful when visiting a freaker's nest. Removing the nests opens up new fast-travel routes that allow you to move around the map more efficiently.

Tip: The behavior of the freakers changes depending on the day/night cycle and weather conditions.
