Rainbow Six Siege' Year 6 Season 2 is "North Star"! New Operators and Many Updates

The tactical shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege" has released information about "North Star," the second season of Year 6.

This new season of "North Star" will feature the new operator "Thunderbird" from the Nakoda tribe, an indigenous North American tribe, as well as the completely reworked "Favela" map.

North Star will feature the new defender "Thunderbird," who will be the first player in the game to be able to defend the Cornahilles. The "Thunderbird" can set up a Corner Healing Station, which allows both enemy and friendly players near the device to heal themselves, even if they are down. Corner stations have a cooldown each time they are recharged.

The "Thunderbird" is light and fast, with a SPEAR .308 or SPAS-15 primary weapon and a BEARING 9 or Q-929 secondary weapon.

In addition, "North Star" introduces a new favela map with additional rooms and a redesigned map. The map's navigation and other features have been improved. The rework improves readability and allows players to always know where they are and where they are going when playing in the favela.

Two new features were tested on the test server: a revamped armor system and (post-death activity. Players' armor will be converted into additional health, allowing them to more clearly see the effects of their armor.

In addition, attackers will be able to control their drones and some defenders will be able to use gadgets after death (Maestro, Echo, Mozzie, etc.). These changes will have a strong impact on gameplay and will be tested to get feedback from players.
*These new features will only be available on the test server and will not be released when "North Star" is implemented.
