Free update available for "Monster Hunter Rise! New ending and "Balfalque of Strange Brilliance" are now available!

Free title update Ver. 3.0, which adds new monsters and endings to "Monster Hunter Rise" for Switch, will be available today, Thursday, May 27.

Released on March 26, 2021, "Monster Hunter Rise" is a completely new title in the "Monster Hunter" series for Nintendo Switch. This title utilizes Capcom's proprietary development engine "RE ENGINE" and was developed under the concept of a new "Monster Hunter" that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere, and with anyone.

The free title update "Ver. 3.0" has been released today, and we will introduce its contents.

Balfaluk of the Strange Brilliance" and "Nushi Jin'oga" appear!

Balfaluk of the Strange Brilliance" and "Nushi Jin'oga" will appear as additional monsters in "Ver. 3.0"!

Balfaluk of the Strange Brilliance

A mutated form of Balfaluk, also known as the "Heavenly Comet Dragon. Originally an ancient dragon that flew high in the sky, it has become so ferocious that it will attack any target it sees, controlled by its own dragon spirit that overflows. When it finds prey, it flies at high speed to strike a blow, and then lays waste to it with its ever-changing winged legs.

Nushi Jin'oga

A thunder wolf dragon bearing the name "Nushi. It has scars all over its body as if it had been caught in a storm, and it always seems to be ruled by anger and fear.
The blows from its remarkably developed forelegs unleash a thunderbolt, mercilessly tearing apart all those who come in contact with it.

A new ending has been added to continue the story.

Two dragons, the Wind God Dragon and the Thunder God Dragon, meet each other. What is the fate of the village of Kamura?
Find out by playing the additional quests in Ver. 3.0.

Normal quests in which nushi monsters appear are now available!

The Nushi Rioreus and Nushi Diablos, which led the herd in the Hyakuryu Yagyo quest, as well as the newly introduced Nushi Jin'oga, will appear in the new regular quests. Take on the highly dangerous and powerful individuals!

New contents such as additional layered equipment, hairstyles, and voices that expand the range of character creation, as well as additional stamps and pose sets that are useful for communication, will be available to make your hunting life more enjoyable!

These various downloadable contents can be found on the Nintendo eShop by accessing the Nintendo eShop from the title menu or from "Senri the Postman" in Kamura no Sato.
