Dragon Quest 12" Announced! This time, a darker, more mature Dracula where you choose your own way of life!

Production of "Dragon Quest XII: The Flame of Chosen Destiny," the latest title in the nationally popular RPG "Dragon Quest" series, has been announced.

Dragon Quest XII: The Flame of Destiny" is the 12th numbered title in the "Dragon Quest" series, and was announced by game creator Yuji Horii at the "Dragon Quest" 35th Anniversary Special Program.

In the teaser movie released to the public, a voiceover asks "Why do people live?" Horii said that the content of the game will be "a scenario in which you are forced to make various choices" and "choose your own way of life," as he said.



He also said that the game will be "darker this time" and "Dragon Quest for adults," aiming for an image of "Dracula" that has never been seen before.

In addition, it was also revealed that the traditional command battles of "Dracula" will be completely redesigned. The prototype is currently under development, but the team feels that it will be very interesting.

Dragon Quest XII: The Chosen Fate of the Flame" will be released simultaneously worldwide. The hardware for which it will be compatible is yet to be determined.
