The "Resident Evil" series, a survival horror game in which players attempt to escape from a devastating situation using weapons and items, has sold more than 100 million copies since the first title was released in 1996 and remains one of Capcom's most popular titles. Even now, more than 25 years have passed since its debut, the series continues to attract enthusiastic support from all over the world.

The latest title "Resident Evil Village" is a sequel to "Resident Evil7 Resident Evil" which sold a total of 9 million copies (as of March 31, 2021), and features a more action-packed and playable title. Players take on the role of the protagonist, Ethan, in a new survival horror story set in an eerie cold village.


This title makes full use of the latest sound technology and photorealistic visual expressions that maximize the capabilities of next-generation consoles, made possible by the original development engine "RE ENGINE".
