TV anime "Platina End" reveals additional cast members and character settings, including Kikuko Inoue and Hikaru Midorikawa!

Additional cast members and character settings have been revealed for the TV anime "Platina End" scheduled to air in the fall of 2021.

Platina End" is a powerful tag team of Tsugumi Ohba (original story) and Takeshi Obata (manga), creators of "DEATH NOTE" and "Bakuman. (original story) and Takeshi Obata (manga), the powerful tag team that created "DEATH NOTE" and "Bakuman", has been serializing the hit manga in "JUMP SQ." since November 2015. It is an epic dark story that revolves around the keywords "angel," "god," "wings," and "arrow," and has sold more than 4.5 million copies worldwide.

The TV anime adaptation will be directed by Hideya Takahashi ("JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: The Golden Wind" etc.), with character design by Koji Odate ("No Game, No Life" etc.) and series composition and script by Shinichi Inozume ("PERSONA5 the Animation" etc.).

The cast and character settings for the TV anime version of Kanade Uryu, Meiza, Hajime Sokotani, and Balta have all been unveiled.

Kanade Uryu, a high school student who is a god candidate and possesses "angel wings" and "angel arrows," will be played by Kaito Ishikawa ("HIQUE!!!"). series, Noe in "Vanitas no Teki", etc.). Kikuko Inoue ("Bakuman.") will play "Meiza," a special angel called "Angel of Desire" who has chosen Kanade as a candidate for God. Snow Amami, Hataraku Cell! Macrophages, etc.).

Tomoaki Maeno (Dragon Quest: Dai no Dai Boken, Crocodine, Dr. Stone: Kinro, etc.) will play the role of Hajime Sokotani, a god candidate who has led an unfortunate life since birth. Hikaru Midorikawa ("Bloodline": Zed O'Brien, "One-Pan Man": Garou, etc.) will play the role of "Barta," a first-class angel called the "angel of intuition" who chose Ichi as a candidate for God.

Kaito Ishikawa as Kanade Seiryu

My name is Kaito Ishikawa, and I will be playing the role of Kanade Ikuryu. Since the audition, I have been carefully working with the director to create the role, so I am thrilled to be able to be involved in this way. I am very excited to be able to be involved in this project. I am looking forward to working even harder in this recording session.

Kikuko Inoue as Meiza
I am thrilled to be playing the role of Meyza, a special angel who possesses Kanade Ikuryu, and who is also called the "Angel of Desire" in a very dramatic world!

Tomoaki Maeno as Hajime Sokotani
I was very attracted by the fantasy and worldview of the play, which made me feel that maybe such a thing actually exists. Sokotani was a new challenge for me, and I had been thinking about how to approach him since I received the audition. I will do my best to bring out the character's presence in the anime as well.

Hikaru Midorikawa as Balta
As someone who has a fetish for wings, I was very excited to see so many beautiful wings that I like. I'm so excited! I'm excited♪ And to be able to play the role of an angel with those wings! I'm not a cute angel, but rather a rather adorable one (lol). The person I'll be working with is also quite unique, and I'm looking forward to the recording sessions from now on.
