A monumental item for Diaclone's 40th anniversary! An in-depth review of the "Battle Convoy V-MAX! Part 1 [Taiyuki's Toys and Games Vol. 9

It's been a little while, but congratulations on the 40th anniversary of the Diaclone series!

This time, we would like to introduce a monumental item for this anniversary, the "Battle Convoy V-MAX".

First of all, I would like to apologize that this article is quite long, even though I carefully selected the images and tried to speed up the review.
Please enjoy it to the fullest by dividing it into two parts, the first part and the second part.

On the front of the package is a large photo of the Battle Convoy V-MAX.

On the back, you can see some of the many gimmicks that are included. Depending on your ingenuity, this is a toy that can be played with in endless ways.

Top and bottom. The thickness is also amazing.

Both sides. The opening. If you open the side of the container, you can take out the container, and if you open the side of the V-MAX, you can take out the V-MAX right away.

The two blisters and container are removed from the box and the contents are laid out. The container will be reviewed later.

The parts group in the lower photo is especially full of parts that make playing with the base a lot of fun.

An instruction manual, photo book, and stickers are included.

Use tweezers carefully when attaching the stickers.

The black line is a steel sheet to be attached to the container. You can attach the steel sheet to the container if you like, but if you want to enjoy the Diaclone to the fullest, you should attach it to the container.

Since magnets are installed in the soles of the Diaclone members' feet, they can easily stand on one leg on this steel sheet. It really moves well.

Now, let's transform and combine it into the MAX-01 flying combat machine.

First, let's put a crew member on the Bullet Core A. The safety bar is also included. Extend the nose.

Dock the Bullet Core A to the main body of Battle Convoy A. The round molds on the left and right sides of the core A are attached to the molds on the inside of the main body A so that the core A is engaged with the molds on the inside of the main body A.

After attaching the core A, raise the leading tail wings on both sides in front of the main body A and deploy the rear arm blocks 90°.

Turn forward and backward, and deploy the horizontal and vertical tail fins.

Stow the joint in the center of the bottom and pull out the landing gear to complete the combined transformation.

The MAX-01 flight combat machine is complete. The Gatling gun on the top of the fuselage can be raised to any angle you like.

This is the appearance of Diaclone's sci-fi mecha.

The rear part. The slit-like part is the propulsion unit.

There is what looks like a triple cannon on the lower part of the fuselage.
By combining this model with the separately sold Verstrizer series, you can reconfigure it into various mecha.

In this case, we would like to have the Versthyser series as well!

I like the intakes on both sides of the fuselage.

Next, the MAX-02 transforms and combines into the MAX-02 traveling combat machine.

First, let the crew board the Bullet Core B.

The front wheels of the Battle Convoy B can be pulled forward by deploying the double hinges.

Attach guns to the weapon mounting latches on both sides of the vehicle.

Connect the core B to the main body B.

This completes the MAX-02 traveling battle machine.

Run powerfully with wild wheels and shoot the enemy.

In addition, deploy the armored panel at the rear of the body.

Put the rear back together to complete the transformation to attack mode.

It is full of cannon guns!　The tires are powerful with 6 wheels.

And even more .......

Transforms the maintenance deck into an Absolute Cyclone cannon.

If you connect it to the rear joint of MAX-02, you can see ......

The Absolute Cyclone Cannon equipped state is complete.

The cylinder can be extended and retracted. Well, mechanical.

It goes one after another!

Next is the "M.A.V. (Multiple Attack Vehicle)".

MAX-01 and MAX-02 are transformed into a combined form.

Deploy the joint at the bottom of MAX-01.

Align the joints and pins to dock MAX-02 and 02.

This completes the M.A.V. mode. From the front, the machine has a tremendous number of gun ports, but when viewed from the side or back, it reminds us that this machine is a "Battle Convoy".

Comparison with the first Battle Convoy. The front image is quite different, but from the back, you can see similarities in the placement of the arms and legs.

Now, let's go into the transformation of the Battle Convoy V-MAX as it is!

First, remove the Bollet Core B.

Stow the front wheels.

Lower the rear of the vehicle (legs), raise the rear wheels forward, and fold them at the hinges.

Stow the tire hinges and raise the toes.

Turn around and unfold the arms. Rotate the ankles back and forth 180°.

Rotate the upper body (only the red part above the silver waist part) 180°.
The arms can also be rotated 90°.

Slide the shoulder joint forward.

Deploy the arm armor and take out the wrists.

Move the core forward slightly, raise the rear panel to take out the head, turn the face back and push the core back in.

Rotate the head pedestal so that the head is down. Then raise the head by the pedestal to complete the transformation.

Here is the powerful Battle Convoy V-MAX!　The flagship item of the "Diaclone Car Robot" line, the Battle Convoy has evolved into the V-MAX!　What a tough guy!
