Game maker Zaus, creator of the PC games "Eternal Aceria" and "Kyuwon no Kizuna", goes bankrupt!

ZAUS Corporation, a maker of PC bishojo games such as "Eternal Aceria -The Spirit of Eternity Sword-" and "Kuon no Kizuna THE ORIGIN," received a bankruptcy order from the Tokyo District Court on May 26, 2021.


The company was originally a game maker for the general public, releasing such titles as "Hotterman's Underground Expedition" for the Famicom (NES), but in the late 1990s began developing software recommended for ages 18 and older, and in 2000 began operating as an adult game maker called "ZAUS.

In addition to the PC game, "Eien no Aceria" was also a hit, being ported to PlayStation2 and adapted into an OVA.
Many talked-about works were released, such as "Kyuwon no Kizuna THE ORIGIN," which was originally released as a consumer title, but was rearranged for adult audiences.
