Outstanding Performance! NVIDIA announces the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti!

On June 1, 2021, NVIDIA announced two new GPUs, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, new members of the GeForce RTX family.

The two GPUs will be available soon through GeForce partners worldwide; the RTX 3080 Ti, the new flagship gaming GPU in the GeForce RTX family, will be available worldwide starting June 3 at a starting price of $1,199. The following week, the RTX 3070 Ti will also be available at a price starting at $599.

While the previous generation of GPUs aimed to address the ambitious games of their era, modern games such as "Cyberpunk 2077" and "Watch Dogs Legion" have become even more realistic, increasing the overall demand for modern graphics cards.

The RTX 3080 Ti, powered by NVIDIA Ampere architecture, offers acclaimed features such as ray tracing, performance-enhancing AI with NVIDIA DLSS, NVIDIA Reflex for reduced latency, and streaming capabilities with NVIDIA Broadcast, as well as additional memory to accelerate popular creator applications, significantly improves performance and fidelity.

RTX has been a huge success," said Jeff Fisher, senior vice president of NVIDIA's GeForce Business Unit.

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, the new flagship of the RTX family, is the ultimate upgrade for GPU enthusiasts of all generations. The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is the ultimate upgrade for GPU enthusiasts of all generations.

Features

Unsurpassed Performance
Whether you're gaming ray-traced and rasterized DirectX and Vulkan titles, the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti powers your gaming, plus the improved responsiveness with lower latency gives you a competitive edge over the millions of people playing your games.

From the perspective of gamers who still love their GTX 1080 Ti, the RTX 3080 Ti is [twice as fast] in traditional rasterization and much faster in processing speed, even with ray tracing and other cutting-edge gaming features enabled.

The GeForce "RTX 3070 Ti" is by far the best performer in this price range, with 1.5 times higher performance than the GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER and a [2x] higher frame rate compared to the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, which was released in 2017.

■ Ideal for creators.
Professional creators, of which there are more than 45 million worldwide, demand higher performance from their hardware than ever before. That's why the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti GPU also delivers significantly improved performance for creatives.

With 12GB of GDDR6X(*1) memory for the NVIDIA Studio platform and creative applications, the RTX is capable of powering the number one photo application (Adobe Photoshop), the number one video editing application (Adobe Premiere Pro), the number one video editing application (Adobe Premiere Pro), the number one delivery application (OBS), and all major 3D renderers.
Over 70 content creation applications currently support RTX accelerated ray tracing, DLSS or AI capabilities.

(*1) The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti has 12GB of GDDR6X memory; the GeForce RTX 3070 has 8GB of GDDR6X memory.

■NVIDIA DLSS: Gamers rejoice, the gift of AI
AI is revolutionizing gaming, from in-game physics and animation simulations to real-time rendering and AI-powered delivery capabilities. DLSS generates beautiful, crisp game images while increasing frame rates. It also maximizes ray tracing settings and allows for higher output resolutions.

Adoption of DLSS technology is growing rapidly, and with the world's leading licensed game engines, Unreal Engine and Unity Engine, now supporting the technology, the number of game titles is dramatically increasing. The gaming franchises taking advantage of DLSS to deliver new levels of graphics include a stellar lineup of games including Battlefield, Call of Duty, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Minecraft, Tomb Raider, and many others.

■NVIDIA Reflex and Broadcast: Ultimate Gameplay
NVIDIA Reflex technology improves game responsiveness by reducing system latency (i.e., input lag), giving players an edge over their opponents in competitive multiplayer titles. As a result, competitive shooter games such as Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, Overwatch, Rainbow Six Siege, and VALORANT are now Twelve of the top 15 games support Reflex, and "Escape from Tarkov" and "Crossfire" will soon support Reflex.

NVIDIA Broadcast includes a series of AI-enhanced audio and video features such as virtual backgrounds, motion capture, and advanced noise reduction, which users can leverage in chats, Skype, and video conferences.
