It's really cool with its Nunu-nu combining gimmick! Akiba Research Institute's editorial department built a plastic toy of "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR", "Minipla Zenkai Gattai Series 02 ZENKAIO Bloomagine Set"!

Have you seen "Kikai Sentai ZENKAIJAR"?

The comical and fast-paced development of the story and the accompaniment by Mr. Hiroaki Watanabe are reminiscent of the early days of Super Sentai, while the energetic activities of the kikainoids on the side of the allies and the early appearance of the additional warrior Two Kaizers and the transformed character Stay Caesar on the enemy side are a nice mix of the current elements. I have always enjoyed the mix of modern elements in this work.

One of the charms of this work is the combined robots! One of the attractions of this title is the "Zenkaio," a robot that combines with other Kikainoid characters to form a giant robot, which not only looks cool, but is also very playable.

So, following the previously introduced Mini-Pla "Zenkaioh Juragaon", the Akiba Research Institute editorial staff reviewed the "Mini-Pla Zenkai Gosei Series 02 Zenkaioh Bloomagine Set" released on April 26, 2012!

The "ZENKAI O Bloomagine" is the second in the "ZENKAI JAR" Combined Robot Mini Plastic series, and consists of five different models: 1. ZENKAI BRUNE A, 2. ZENKAI BRUNE B, 3. ZENKAI MAGINE A, 4.

Like the first "ZENKAIO JURAGAOON," this time also comes with an expansion parts set.

At first glance, the gimmick itself is the same as that of "Zenkaio Juragaon," but are there any points unique to "Zenkaio Bloomagine"?

Let's take a look at the set box first!

The ZENKAIO Bloomagine is cool, with a large expansion on the front!

The back of the box also has a lot of information about the combined variations!

The box contains five individual items. Of course, each of them comes with a Ramune.

So, let's start assembling them!

1. zenkai-brawn A" & "2. zenkai-brawn B

The last to join the regular members, ZENKAI BRUNE. He is a rather eccentric kikainoid who is full of curiosity, and was a janitor at Tojitendo because he wanted to know information that was not available to the common people.

Its motif is the combined robot "Daiboken" that appeared in "Todoroki Sentai Bokenger. The blue base coloring gives the figure a slightly different impression, but the original motif can be seen in the details of the face, arms, and legs.

His weapon is a pickaxe-shaped "Bloon Picker.

The weapon is a pickaxe-shaped "bloon picker." Although the character is supposed to be in charge of intelligence, the weapon gives a wild impression. ...... Well, there seems to be more scenes in the play where he is running around in a panic, so there is no problem!

There are some prop parts for stability, but you may not need to use them much since the legs are designed to be sturdy.

Next, the machine transforms!

It transforms into a dump truck-type machine, "Bloon Dump!

All four tires rotate, so you can play with it by rolling it around.

The two "Zenkaio Juragaon" transformed with replacements, but the "Zenkaibrune" transforms without replacements, except for a weapon replacement! The complete transformation has been achieved as per the settings.

In addition, the details are sculpted quite finely. If you inked it, it would look much tighter.

3. ZENKAI MAGINE A & 4. ZENKAI MAGINE B

ZENKAI MAGINE is the only female ZENKAIJAR kikainoid.

She is shy and becomes suspicious when spoken to, and has a strange accent like "Nununu" and the endings "~issu! She is a unique character with a hint of a shadowy character.

The voice acting by Yume Miyamoto is exquisite and addictive.

She is characterized by her curvy, feminine lines and wing parts on her shoulders. The motif of the figure is based on "Maji-King," the combined robot from "Magical Sentai Majiranger," and the shape of the head, the design of the chest, and the wing parts are all reminiscent of this figure.

From the side, the figure looks quite voluptuous thanks to the wing parts.

The weapon is the "Magine Stick," a staff that casts magic! It can be held in the hand.

Like the ZENKAI BRUNE, it has a prop. Unlike other kikainoids, ZENKAI Mazyne's parts are concentrated in its upper body, and the ground surface of its legs is quite small, making it difficult for it to stand on its own. We recommend the use of a support pole.

Next is the deformation of the machine!

The transformation of "Zenkai Magine" is quite unique.

After removing the wing parts, extend the toes and flip up the front part of the abdomen.

Then, after flipping it upside down and rotating the base of the diagonally cut leg parts 180°, it transforms into a dragon's head by overlapping the front drooping and leg parts. Rotate the arm parts to become the dragon's front legs. Then connect the magine stick to the tail and attach the wing parts again. ......

Magine Dragon is completed! This is an amazing transformation that changes the silhouette from humanoid to a completely different one!

The two "Zenkaio Juragaon" transformed into a beast (dinosaur) form similar to each other and had a simple common transformation gimmick, but the two "Bloomagine" transform into completely different forms, so their gimmicks are completely different. It is a little impressive that they can transform from the same human form to such drastically different appearances! It is a bit impressive.

Of course, it is possible to add a menacing expression with the mouth open.

Now it's time to combine the machines! (I realized later that I forgot to attach the bloon picker to the bloon dump...!)

Combined with Zenkaio Bloomagine!

There wasn't a particularly interesting merging scene like in "Zenkaio Juragaon," so this time, we quickly started the transformation!

First, remove the parts of the Bloon Dump.

The lower part of the vehicle body is deployed 180° to transform into the left half of the body.

Next, remove the parts of the Magine Dragon.

The transformation pattern to the combined form is also totally different from that of the Bloons. After gapping and unfolding the upper half and folding the head and lower half of the neck ......

The diagonal axis of rotation at the base of the upper half of the head is rotated 180°, transforming it into an arm.

This makes the right half of the body.

Then, the pin on the bloon side is raised and ......

The plane world merges!

Attach the wings of Magine to the back, and rotate the cargo part of Brune upward to become the shoulder parts. Then, connect the tires of the bloons to the legs. Attach the head and the transformation is complete.

The left shoulder part can be removed from the connection of the ZENKAI bloon and reattached to the pin on the shoulder side at .......

You can reattach it to the pin on the shoulder side.

This allows for a more natural shoulder design and easier arm movement.

Also, the wing parts have two connection holes, one on the back and one on the shoulder.

You can choose the attachment position according to your preference.

The attention to detail is a nice touch!

In contrast to the smart "Zenkaio Juragaon," the "Zenkaio Bloomagine" has a massive body shape.

The arms have a roll axis at the elbow. By rotating it, the direction of the arm can be freely moved.

The arms can be raised 90 degrees to the side.

The range of motion of the legs is slightly narrower than that of "Zenkaio Juragaon," which benefited from a deformation gimmick.

It swings about this much in the front and back.

Due to interference of parts, the bending of the knees is about this much.

The head is connected with a ball joint.

The head can be lightly angled up and down, and can also rotate 360 degrees.

The figure is shown here holding a weapon.

The large swinging magine stick fits just right.

A bloon picker can also be equipped. A variety of unique weapons are available.

It looks strong!

As with "Juragaon," you can play with the combined set with only No. 1 to No. 4, but by using the extension parts, you can decorate it even more coolly!

Let's try adding the "5. Bloomagine Extension Parts Set"!

So, here are the contents of the set.

Flat hand parts and parts to rotate the upper body. Leg height extension parts. And the pedestal.

There are the following patterns of stickers to put on the pedestal.

Let's start attaching the extension parts.

Let's start with the flat hand parts.

This will allow us to add facial expressions to the hands.

And here are the leg extension parts.

This small leg bottom is ......

The larger size will improve the overall balance and stability of the figure when it stands up.

Next are the extension parts that add a rotation axis to the upper body.

By inserting it between the chest and abdomen like this: ......

This part allows the upper body to be twisted.

This is an arrangement that can be done without the extension parts, but by dividing the chest part, it can be made thinner.

This will make the chest part look sleeker.

This is "Zenkaio Bloomagine" after using the extension parts.

The head is a little taller, giving it a more stylish look.

She looks like a magical girl with her Magine Stick!

Nununu, Magine ......!

Yaaaahhh!

...... that looks more like she's hitting you with a club than using magic.

But it's cool, so I don't mind the details!

He is also wearing a bloon picker!

It looks so strong and cool.

Let's set it on the pedestal.

It looks more luxurious, and it's hard to believe that this is a Shokugan. ......

I played with it in combination with ZENKAIO JURAGAOON!

In addition to Juragaone and Bloomagine, Zenkaio can also be combined into Juragaone and Bloomagine, with the left and right sides of each reconfigured!

They are also active in their respective forms in the play, and of course can be reproduced in Miniplas.

First is the Jura Magine!

This was the form that followed the Juragaon.

The combination of the red color of the Juran and the pink of the Magine is a hudde hudde.

The silhouette is heroic thanks to the wings as well as the coloring.

A properly dedicated face comes with the Magine Brune set.

Next is Gao Brune.

The combination of yellow and blue gives it an austere, smoked silver look.

Of course, Gao Brune also has its own face.

If you purchase two sets each of "Juragaon" and "Majibrune," you can display four of them side by side, so why not give it a try?

You can also display them in their kikainoid form! Just thinking about how to display them is exciting! There is so much play value!

So, continuing from the last issue, we have introduced the Mini-Plastic "Zenkaio Bloomagine". I thought I had some idea of the proportions and combining gimmicks with "Juragaon," but when you actually build "Blumagine," you will soon realize that they are not similar.

If you think about it, it is quite amazing that each kikainoid has a different body shape, but when they are combined, they have the same form. We hope you will experience the cutting edge of Sentai Robo with Mini-Pla!

With the release of the third Mini-Pla model "Kaizoku Gattai Tsukaio" scheduled for June, the ZENKAIJAR Mini-Pla series continues to grow and expand. We can't wait to see what the future holds!
