Morkers in 3D and MX4D movie! Let's jump out! Let's be! PUI PUI MOLKAR" will be released on July 22!

PUI PUI MOLKAR," which became an instant hit on SNS this year, will be screened as a 3D and MX4D movie, opening in theaters nationwide on July 22, 2021 (Thursday, national holiday) for a limited two-week period.

The TV animation "PUI PUI MOLKAR" is a new type of stop-motion animation by Shin-Ei Animation, an animation production company that continues to produce nationally known works such as "Doraemon" and "Crayon Shinchan. The film is directed by Asaki Misato, an up-and-coming puppet character animation director who won the Grand Prix at the Paris International Fantastic Film Festival (PIFFF) and numerous other awards in Japan and abroad for "My Little Goat," which was released in 2018 as a graduation project of the graduate school of Tokyo University of the Arts.


Set in a world where guinea pigs have become "molcars" (cars), this work, in which many molcars engage in crazy action filled with healing, friendship, and adventure, exploded in popularity as soon as it began airing. The video clips of the series on YouTube are ranked in the "Rapidly Rising Ranking" every week, showing the unprecedented excitement of the series.

The Blu-ray and DVD of " PUI PUI MOLKER" will be released in "Mugen MOLKER" format! The Blu-ray (made to order) will come with luxurious special features!

PUI PUI MOLKAR" will be screened as a 3D and MX4D movie, which will be released nationwide for two weeks only from July 22, 2021 (Thursday, national holiday).

The movie will show all 12 episodes of the anime in 3D and MX4D (some episodes will be shown in 2D). The viewers will be able to experience the sparkle of Morkers' curly eyes and fluffy fur in real life.


Along with this release information, a poster visual of Morkers, which looks as if it is about to pop out of the screen, has been released.

The admission present (limited quantity on a first-come, first-served basis) will be a "NARASE! Morker Ball" as an admission present (limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis). The ball is designed to make a sound and can be played with the characters while watching the movie. There are a total of six designs, three for the first week and three for the second week.


In addition, a countdown project to commemorate the release of the movie started today, June 8, on the official Twitter page. Information on sub-characters who have not been revealed until now will be released daily, so please be sure to check it out.

I am quite surprised that "PUI PUI MOLKAR," which I produced as a part of a program for young children, will be shown in 3D and MX4D theaters.
I am sure that the moluccas will pop out on the big screen, and the audience will be able to experience a sense of unity by listening to the PUIPUI sound. I am very much looking forward to seeing what the screening will be like.
