Grid Knight makes its first appearance at the show in two years! SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW 03 REVENGE" event report is now available!

On June 5, 2021, the "SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW 03 REVENGE" event was held at Matsudo no Mori Hall 21 in Chiba Prefecture, bringing together many of the performers and staff from the "SSSS.GRIDMAN" anime.

It has been 25 years since Tsuburaya Productions' special effects TV series "Electric Light Superhero Gridman," a completely new anime work that became a hot topic when it aired in the fall of 2018. The story is about a high school student with amnesia who becomes one with the hyper-agent Gridman and confronts monsters.
Electric Light Superhero Gridman" is a special effects TV series that aired in 1993. Even though it was produced before personal computers were common in households, it gained popularity for its content that anticipated modern concepts such as the "Internet" and "computer viruses.
In "SSSS. GRIDMAN," the character settings have been completely renewed, and Gridman's activities are depicted in a new worldview.

This time, on June 5, 2021, the event "SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW 03 REVENGE" was held at Matsudo no Mori Hall 21, Chiba Prefecture, with many performers and staff from the "SSSS.GRIDMAN" anime.

GRIDMAN" was held. The show was streamed on the web along with the on-site performance. The archives are still available for viewing. Following the "SHOW 01" and "SHOW 02," a report on the event featuring all the main cast members has just arrived.

The sight of the "SSSS. GRIDMAN" all-star cast lined up on stage was truly spectacular. After the one-on-one greetings, the stage was darkened and the first program, an original reading play "Let's Get Revenge," began.

The reading play was an original story written by director Tetsu Amemiya, a regular feature of the SSSS. The story opens with Gridman and a group of New Century Junior High School students escorting Alexis to the Hyper World after the last episode of the anime.
Bored with the long journey during the convoy, the group engages in idle talk at a "lukewarm comedy" started at the suggestion of Boller. Then, Nami and Hassu suddenly appeared. Apparently, the haunted spot they had snuck into to shoot a video and the gateway to the hyper world Gridman and his group were traveling to were accidentally connected. Taking advantage of the confusion, Alexis breaks the seal and escapes. Gridman, in a pinch because Alexis has stolen the Calibur, asks for help from Namikotsu, who is wielding the Calibur!
In this part, we see Alexis wielding the Caliber, Namikotsu's access flash, and a series of unexpected developments that only an extra chapter can bring. The light-hearted (?) talk between the New Century Junior High School students and Alexis, and the "goofy" (or "goofy"?) conversation between the students and Namikazu. The first half of the reading play was over, and the audience was left to watch the play.

After the first half of the reading, OxT (Oishi Masayoshi, TOM-H@CK), who sings the theme song for the show, started the live performance, performing the OP theme song "UNION" and a cover of the ED theme song "Motto kimi wo shiranaba" from "Denko Chojin Gridman" for the first time. Tom-H@Ck said, "It's been a while since I was on stage," and Oishi Masayoshi, who had just returned from throat surgery, showed no sign of change at all as he sang two songs with passionate performance.
Yuya Hirose, who plays the role of Yuta Hibiki, came on stage to answer OISIMASAYOSHI's call, and although he seemed a little intimidated to be performing with OISIMASAYOSHI and TOM-H@CK, two of the most senior artists in the anime song world, the mood changed when he started singing the OP theme song "Dream Hero" from "Denko Chojin Gridman". The mood changed drastically. The two singers' superb singing ability enlivened the stage for the next reading performance.

After the live performance, the second half of the reading play, "The Usage of Power," began.
Yuta, Utsumi, Rokka and Rokka Mama, Anti and the monster girl, and Rokka Papa, the first character to appear, played by Toru Inada, were summoned by a mysterious invitation. Akane appears and tells them that the invitation was sent by Akane, and invites them to join her online salon and grow together. Rokka-mama almost joins the salon, but then Gridman appears in pursuit of Alexis, who has fled, and the situation suddenly changes. The group is stunned by Gridman's comment that "Alexis may be disguised as someone here. Rokka Papa's nice voice is a ...... and mystery after mystery.
Gridman, who has been materialized by Yuta's access flash, and Anti, who has transformed into a monster in response to Akane's call, confront Alexis, who finally appears, but Anti falls to Alexis' deadly blade while protecting Gridman. However, he rises to his feet in response to everyone's call and, to his surprise, transforms into a Grid Knight! With Caliber, he becomes Grid Knight Caliber and confronts Alexis together with Gridman!
At the end of the story, there is an exchange between Anti and the monster girl.

The second half of the play features the heroic appearance of Grid Knight, who makes his first appearance in this performance. The last half of the show is a must-see, featuring all the heroes and monsters that have appeared in the SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW, including Nanashi B, who appears this time as part of the "Alexis Capture System. GRIDMAN SHOW, the collaboration of the reading play and hero show is a highlight of the show. The collaboration between the reading play and the hero show, which is a unique feature of the SSSS.

After the reading play, Marie Uchida appeared with TOM-H@CK to perform the SSSS.GRIDMAN ED theme song "youthful beautiful. Uchida, who was participating in the "SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW" for the first time, sang "Strobe memory", the ED theme song of the TV anime "SSSS.DYNAZENON" currently on air, as a surprise.

After Uchida, Oishi Masayoshi appeared on stage.
DYNAZENON" OP theme song "In Perfect," and the audience responded to the surprise with loud handclaps and penlights.

After a short break, a talk show was held in the second part.
The talk show consisted of four parts: the artists' group, consisting of OP/ED singing artists OxT and Marie Uchida, and the cast A, B, and C, consisting of 15 performers divided into three groups of five.

In the first talk by the artists' group, they talked about a certain episode in Oishi's first reading of the script for SSSS.
Next up was Cast A, where voice actors who love tokusatsu and voice actors who appear in tokusatsu productions talked about hot tokusatsu, and also shared behind-the-scenes stories about their characters, such as "Utsumi was not originally a good-looking guy! and other behind-the-scenes stories about the characters.
In Cast B, where Midorikawa was surrounded by four female voice actors, ad-lib master Mayumi Shintani led the conversation from the beginning. The talk went off on a tangent, with Mayumi Shintani, a master of ad-libs, leading the audience to laugh as she delved into the question, "How can the female voice actors of Cast B win out over Midorikawa's cuteness?
The theme of the last talk of the second part, by Cast C, was "If I had to act again, what would I do? Katsuyuki Konishi's reference to his role in SSSS.DYNAZENON, "I want to play a dynastriker," led the talk to the topic of SSSS.DYNAZENON.
Each of the groups followed their own theme, or went off on a tangent, and the fascination of each performer and artist shone through in their crosstalk. All of the talks were a must-listen, but of particular note was the "cute father-style grid beam" by Midorikawa of Cast Group B. This was the only time that Midorikawa's humor could be heard. The audience was treated to a humorous performance by Midorikawa that was only available on this occasion, so make sure you don't miss it.

The event concluded with the entire cast's "Access Flash! The "SSSS.GRIDMAN SHOW 03 REVENGE" ended with "Access Flash!
GRIDMAN", including a reading play, a hero show, a live performance, and cast talks.

At this event, new information about the Blu-ray & DVD "SSSS.DYNAZENON" was also released.
A new live-action video "Grid Knight Fight" featuring Grid Knight, who was also active in this event, will be included in every volume.

Directed by the director of "Ultraman Zero: The Movie Super Battle! DYNAZENON" and "Ultraman Zero: The Belial Galactic Empire. DYNAZENON". This new live-action film was produced by Tsuburaya Productions with the cooperation of director Tetsu Amemiya and other Trigger staff. The voices are provided by Kenichi Suzumura as Grid Knight, Hanabayashi Takahashi as the second generation, and Toru Inada as Alexis Keliv. Hiroshi Kamiya provides the voiceover narration for the "Fight" titles produced by Tsuburaya Productions in the past.

In addition, details of the Kyanime special edition figures were announced, details of which had not been disclosed.
Volume 3 will include "Dyna Soldier Rising Blue ver." and volume 4 will include "Grid Knight Rising Blue ver." as a bonus.

The "Rising Blue ver." is a special version of the "Grid Knight Rising Blue," whose coloring design was inspired by the activities of Grid Knight in "Grid Knight Fight" by director Tetsu Amemiya. This is a color variation of the included "THE Combined Dragon Man DX Dyna Xenon" and "Grid Knight & Gold Burn" figures made by GSC, and can be combined with those figures as well. It can also be combined with these figures.

Finally, it was announced that the "SSSS.DYNAZENON SHOW" will be held on October 17, 2021 (Sunday), with the main cast including Daiki Hamano, Junya Enoki, and Shion Wakayama.

A priority sales lottery ticket for this event will be included in the first volume of the Blu-ray and DVD. What kind of show will the "SSSS.DYNAZENON" team present? We await further news.
