TV Anime "Getter Robo Arc" Special Advance Distribution on July 4 and Free Distribution of OVA Version! Message from Yuma Uchida, who plays the main character Takuma Nagare!

The TV anime "Getter Robo Arc" will be distributed on Bandai Channel and Hulu from 23:30 on July 4, 2021 (Sun.). A message from Yuma Uchida, who plays the main character Takuma Nagare, has also arrived.

Getter Robo Arc" is the final work of the "Getter Robo Saga" that started with "Getter Robo". The "Getter Robo Saga" is the collective name for the various "Getter Robo" series, starting with "Getter Robo." The original "Getter Robo" set a milestone for transformable robots, and the spirit of "transformable robots" has been inherited in numerous subsequent works. The "Getter Robo" series continued with "Getter Robo G" (1975~), "Getter Robo No." (1991~), and "Shin Getter Robo" (1997~), and in 2001, "Getter Robo Arc" was serialized in "Super Robot Magazine," an additional issue of Futabasha's Action Pizzazz magazine. The first series was "Getter Robo Arc" in 2001. After that, Ken Ishikawa passed away suddenly. Both "Getter Robo Arc" and "Getter Robo Saga" became unfinished masterpieces.

The new animation will be directed by Jun Kawagoe, who worked on "Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo" and "Shin Getter Robo," and produced by Bee Media (OVA "Getter Robo" series) and studioA-CAT (Armored Girl Senki). The new work will reflect the characteristics of the original work in a more colorful way, and will be a work worth watching.
Yuma Uchida plays Takuma Nagare, the main character aboard the new Getter Robot, while Kazuhiro Sunishi plays Baku Yamagishi, and Zonimo Mukono plays Kamui Sho. In addition, the role of Hayato Kami will be played by Makoto (Change!!!). Naoya Uchida, who also played the same role in "Getter Robo" series including "Getter Robo: The Last Day of the World" (1998-), will play Hayato Kami.

JAM Project's new song "Bloodlines ~Bloodlines of Destiny~" will be the opening theme for the film. It has been 47 years since the series was born. The "Getter Robot" will unleash its gushing "passionate spirit" to break through the stagnation and chaos of 2025.

It has been decided that "Getter Robo Arc" will be distributed specially on Bandai Channel and Hulu from 23:30 on July 4 (Sun.), 2021. It was also announced that "Getter Robo Arc" will be available for unlimited viewing and live broadcast on each distribution site from July 10 (Sat.) at 12:00 p.m.

In conjunction with the broadcast of "Getter Robo Arc," the three OVA versions of "Getter Robo" will also be available for unlimited viewing and free distribution on Bandai Channel for a limited time.

In addition, a message from Yuma Uchida, who plays Takuma Nagare, the main character of "Getter Robo Arc," has arrived.

Yuma Uchida's comment

Takuma Nagare is a very "people-oriented" character.
I feel that he is much more so than the visuals suggest.
He is motivated by unforgivable anger at someone being hurt or having someone or something he cares about trampled on, as well as by his feelings for many other things.
During postrecording, I found that Takuma sometimes acts quickly, but not in a neglectful way. On the surface, he may be blunt and overbearing, but he always looks people in the eye when he speaks.
He has guts, and he is also very poised. I wonder if he inherited this attitude from his father.
During the recording, I keep my voice tight all the time. I have never stretched out my voice like this before (laughs).
(Laughs) Overall, a pressured approach is often required for this work.
Takuma, in particular, has a very loud voice, and I think the pressure he exerts is unique.
It is a physical challenge!
