P.A.WORKS original anime "Aquatope of White Sand" new PV released! Ito Mirai's radio program will be distributed from July 2 (Fri.)!

The second PV for the TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand," which will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations on July 8, 2021 (Thursday), has been released. It has also been decided that it will be broadcast on AT-X and that a radio program featuring Mirai Ito as a personality will start on July 2 (Fri.).

The TV animation "Aquatope of White Sand" is a completely new original animation presented by P.A.WORKS. The director is Toshiya Shinohara and the series composition is by Yuko Kakihara. They worked together on "From Tomorrow in a Colorful World," which depicted the adolescence of girls, and their new work is a story set in a small aquarium in Okinawa.

The second PV has been released, showing the beginning of the story and the changes in the relationship between the two girls, Kukuru Umisakino and Fuka Miyazawa. The PV depicts how Kukuru Umisakino and Fuka Miyazawa, who are initially distant from each other due to their different circumstances, gradually come to see each other and struggle for the "Gamagama Aquarium".

In this PV, the OP theme "Tayutaeta, Nanashiki (Seven Colors)," sung by ARCANA PROJECT, is also shown for the first time! The song depicts the main characters' dreams and thoughts about their work, and raises expectations for the story that will unfold around these unique characters.

The radio program "White Sand Aquatope Gama-Gama-Gama Aquarium Broadcasting Station" will be broadcast on the Internet radio station "Onsen"! Kukuru quietly tells the secret of the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.

Sometimes, you can see 'mysterious things' here.

Okinawa is bathed in the summer sun.
The aquarium is located about an hour's bus ride from Naha City.
The tiny and somewhat deserted Gamagama Aquarium is located right next to a beautiful beach in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.

An 18-year-old high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, works there with a straightforward and earnest attitude.
She loves the aquarium more than anyone else, to the point of calling herself the "director" in place of her grandfather.

One day, Kukuru meets a girl named Fuka Miyazawa, who was shedding tears while shaking her long hair in front of the aquarium.
Fuka had given up her dream of becoming an idol and had come to Okinawa from Tokyo on an aimless getaway.

Slow and gentle time flows at the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.
Seeking a place to belong, Fuka asks to work at the aquarium.

Their daily lives, which were never meant to meet, began to move in this way.

However, along with the "wonder" of the aquarium, it also faces a big problem: the closing crisis.

With a time limit looming, the two begin working to rebuild the aquarium.

To protect an irreplaceable place, a warm haven.
