Hideaki Anno Exhibition" will be held at the National Art Center, Tokyo (Roppongi, Tokyo).
Hideaki Anno's latest work "Shin Evangelion the Movie," for which he served as general director, has been released to over 5.69 million viewers in 95 days and grossed over 8.69 billion yen at the box office, and continues to set new records.
The "Hideaki Anno Exhibition" is now being held. The exhibition will cover past works he participated in when he was an animator, as well as his latest work as a director and producer, and will explore the secrets of his creative activities.
The exhibition will display a wide variety of production materials, including rare original drawings and miniatures from his "animation" and "special effects" works, which were his starting point; a vast number of handwritten notes and illustrations from his amateur days to the present; scripts, settings, image sketches, storyboards, layouts, original drawings, and miniature sets that are essential for creating unique images; and a wide range of other items. This will be the first exhibition of its kind in the world. Don't miss this opportunity.
