The electronic version of "The First Steps" is finally released in its entirety!

The electronic version of George Morikawa's long-running manga "The First Step" will be released on July 1, 2021.

Hajime no Ippo" is a long-running manga series by George Morikawa that began in 1989 and is a signature work of "Weekly Shonen Magazine. It depicts a bullied child, Makunouchi Ippo, who happens to encounter boxing and becomes passionate about it.


It was announced that the electronic version of "Hajime no Ippo" will be released on July 1, 2021, with the 30th issue of "Weekly Shonen Magazine" to be released on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. The ban will be lifted for all e-bookstores that Kodansha does business with, from volume 1 to volume 131 onward.


This is the first time in the 33-year history of the work that the ban has been lifted in its entirety.
