The adventure game "Sky: Children Who Spin the Stars" is available today for the Nintendo Switch, a long-awaited version of the game for fans!

thatgamecompany,Inc. has launched the Nintendo Switch version of its current title "Sky: Hoshi wo Bougu Kodomotachi" ("Sky") in various countries and in Japan.

Sky: Children Who Weave Stars" (Sky), from the studio that produced the critically acclaimed "Kazenotabibito" and "Flowery," will be available for iOS in July 2019 and for Android in April 2020 (with an earlier release in Japan in December 2019).

In the world of Sky, players can join hands with like-minded friends, fly around the world together, and freely explore seven fantastic regions.

The Nintendo Switch version of "Sky: Children Who Weave Stars" (Sky) is now available in various countries and in Japan.


The Nintendo Switch port of Sky includes a free-to-play main storyline that can be enjoyed all the way through to the end, and allows up to 8 players to play simultaneously via online connectivity. The game is available for up to 8 players simultaneously via online connection, allowing players to interact with other players and enjoy adventures together.

To celebrate the release of the game on Nintendo Switch, a new starter pack (set of 2 capes, ocarina, hairstyle, and 75 candles) exclusive to the Switch version will be available for 3,680 yen (tax included).


Since its launch on iOS and Android, thatgamecompany has hosted nine seasonal events that have expanded the world of Sky with different characters, new gameplay features, and event stories.

Now, in July, Sky will launch its first collaborative crossover event starring Le Petit Prince (The Star Prince), a character from the works of French children's author Saint-Exupéry who is loved around the world.

Players will encounter the beauty of the "Starry Moonlit Desert," a brand new area designed especially for this event, and a new story to tell.

The "Season of the Starry Prince" is scheduled to begin on July 6, 2021, and more details about the collaboration will be announced soon.
