Shinohara Heavy Industries, the creator of "PATLABOR," has completed a special 75th anniversary logo! A commemorative wristwatch will also go on sale!

A special logo commemorating the 75th anniversary of Shinohara Heavy Industries, the company featured in Mobile Police Patlabor, has been unveiled. It was designed by Teruhisa Tajima, art director of the film.

Mobile Police Patlabor" depicts the activities of the police in fighting crimes committed by the "Reaver," a robot developed for industrial use.

Shinohara Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. is the company that manufactures and sells the Reaver that appears in the series. The company's special logo was unveiled to commemorate the company's 75th anniversary. 75 years have passed, and the logo now has a modern, global feel to it.

The logo was designed by Teruhisa Tajima, who has been involved in the artwork for "Mobile Police Patlabor" since the project's inception.

Born in Fukuoka in 1949, he graduated from Tama Art University with a degree in graphic design.
After working in the design department of CBS Sony (now SonyMusic Labels Inc.), he moved to the United States,
He became a freelance designer in 1980, and established his current design production company "THESEDAYS" in 1992.
He has worked as an art director for package covers and photography for many musicians including Shogo Hamada and Yutaka Ozaki.
Since then, his work has included editorial, posters, advertisements, calendars, photo books, novel and comic book bindings, and other general graphic work.
