TV Animation "The Detective is Already Dead"! Episode 1 Synopsis & Advance Scene Cuts Revealed! Broadcast countdown illustrations are also on view!

The TV anime "The Detective is Already Dead," which will start airing on July 4 (Sun.), has released a synopsis and advance scene cuttings of the first episode. The synopsis and advance scene cuts of the first episode have been released. Also, a countdown illustration of the broadcast is now on view.

The detective is already dead. The latest volume 4 was released on November 25, 2020, and a comic book version by Mugiko has been serialized in "Monthly Comic Alive" since July 2020.
The TV anime adaptation is directed by Manabu Kurihara, Series composition is by Deko Akao, character design by Yousuke Ito, and animation production by ENGI.

The synopsis and scene cuts are as follows.
Episode 1: Are any of our customers detectives? The first episode is a romantic comedy of youth!
＜Synopsis.
A plane flying 10,000 meters is hijacked. Kimihiko Kimizuka, a young boy, is assigned as an assistant by a mysterious girl, Siesta, who claims to be a detective, and goes to the cockpit.
There, a man who goes by the code name Bats takes the captain hostage. As a condition for releasing the hostage, Bat demands that Siesta deduce "the reason why he took over the plane.
