A TV anime of the popular horror comic "Sankaku mado no gai wa yoru" (Kurofune Comics/Libre), originally written by Tomoko Yamashita, will be broadcast from October 2021 on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, and other networks. In addition, a special report and a teaser visual were announced, as well as the leading roles of Kosuke Sankaku (played by Nobunaga Shimazaki) and Wataru Hatano (played by Rito Karukawa).

Sankaku mado no gai wa yoru" is a popular manga serialized by Tomoko Yamashita in the April 2013 issue of the monthly magazine B-Boy. The manga is about a bookstore clerk, "Sankaku," who has always been able to see eerie things, and a spirit exorcist, Reikawa, who sees his talent and forces him to work with him. A live-action movie starring Masaki Okada and Jun Shizon was released on January 22, 2021.

The TV anime will be broadcast from October 2021 on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, and other TV stations. A special trailer and teaser visual were also released.

The role of the main character, Kosuke Mikado, a young man who can see spirits, will be played by Nobunaga Shimazaki, who plays Yuki Kusama in "Fruits Basket" and Mahito in "Jujutsu Kaisen," and the role of Rihito Hiyakawa, a spirit exorcist, will be played by Rito Yatomo, who plays the role of Shinjyo Jinja in "My Hero Academia" and the role of Wataru Hatano, who plays the role of Raku Yaotome in "Idolish Seven," has been chosen to play the role of the exorcist Rihito Hiyakawa.
