The main character of "Golgo 13" (written by Takao Saito), which has been serialized in "Big Comic" magazine since 1968, is Duke Togo. The cool and enigmatic character of this world-class sniper, who is always calm and collected, and carries out his tasks with unparalleled accuracy, has attracted many fans.

This past July, the 201st volume of the book was published. This July, the series will break the historical record for the most number of volumes published by a single manga series.

Golgo 13" has set a milestone in the world of comics by being serialized for more than half a century and by having the most number of volumes published in a single volume. Whiskey critic Hideo Yamaoka chose Glenfarclas "2009" single cask to celebrate this historical achievement. From the multiple cask samples provided by the owner, the sixth generation George Grant, this was excellent! he exclaimed.

Glenfarclas distillery was established in 1836. The distillery is located in the Speyside region of Scotland, and is family owned and operated, continuing to make whisky by inheriting traditional methods such as open-flame cooking.

Let's celebrate this historic achievement in the world of comics in a quiet toast at Glenfarclas, a distillery that preserves tradition and continues to make history. Cheers.

<Tasting notes.
Aroma: A very well-balanced sherry cask whisky aroma. Dried fruits such as dates, prunes and fine chocolate. It is not woody, and you want to keep smelling it forever.

Flavor: A little bittersweet at first, but very smooth, with a pleasant finish. Chocolate flavored puff pastry, rich cake with dried fruits. Delicious boiled red beans when watered.

Overall: I have a hard time drinking many sherry cask whiskeys straight, but this one I could drink many glasses of. Excellent!
