Broadcasting starts on July 5 (Mon.)! TV anime "Seirei Genshi Ki" episode 1 synopsis & advance scene cuts revealed! Starring Sadayuki Matsuoka!

The TV anime "Seirei Gensyou Ki", which will start airing on July 5 (Mon.), has released a synopsis and prior scene cuts from the first episode "Memories of a Former Life".

Seirei Gensyouki" (author: Yuri Kitayama, illustration: Riv) is a very popular otherworldly reincarnation fantasy series that has sold over 1.2 million copies. Rio, who has a memory of being a university student and a harsh fate of living as an orphan in a slum, is given the meaning of life and the strength to fight by a "bond" between his previous life and the present world.
The TV animation is directed and composed by Yamasaki Osamu, who also worked on "To the Earth...", and produced by TMS Entertainment.

＜Synopsis.
Haruto Amagawa, a 20-year-old college student, loses his life in a bus accident. In his fading consciousness, his only regret is his unspoken feelings for his childhood friend Miharu, who has disappeared since their high school entrance ceremony.
The scene changes to a slum in the Kingdom of Beltram. In the corner of a dingy shack, an orphan boy named Rio wakes up in a nightmare. He has lived his whole life with only one goal in mind, revenge against a certain man, but suddenly his memory of his other self, Haruto Amakawa, who lives in a strange world, flashes back into his mind.
