A short music video for "Analogy" by Ayane will be released on Wednesday, July 28. An online signing event will also be held.

Higurashi When They Cry" was first released as a doujin game in 2002, and its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre scenario became popular, leading to a TV anime adaptation in 2006. In October 2020, it was adapted into a completely new anime "Higurashi When They Cry Industry," which became a topic of conversation as it trended on Twitter every week due to its even more shocking plot than the previous work.

The sequel "Higurashi When They Cry Graduates" will start airing in July 2021. A short YouTube music video of "Analogy", the OP theme of "Higurashi When They Cry 卒" to be released on July 28 (Wed.) by Ayane, has been released and the TV size version is now available for streaming and download on various distribution sites.

The music video depicts being trapped in something and trying to break free from it, with the use of a pitch-black space and tropical fish in an aquarium. The content of the video is linked to the idea of trying to fight against a world that repeats the same events in the same place at the same time, as depicted in Higurashi's works.

The full version of "Analogy" will be included in the limited edition Blu-ray of "Analogy ~Ayaon HIGURASHI Song Collection~," a 13-track album of Higurashi songs sung by Ayaon, to be released on July 28 (Wed).

An online signing event will be held on July 25 (Sun.)!

To celebrate the release of the album, an online autograph session will be held on July 25 (Sun.)! By pre-ordering the applicable product, customers will receive a jacket, poster, or other special item signed by Ayane and addressed to the customer's name of their choice. The event will be broadcasted in real time as Ayane signs and writes her name.
