The TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Sotsugyo," which will be broadcast from July 2021, is based on a computer game released in 2002. Set in the fictional village of "Hinamizawa Village" in 1983, it is a mystery work that investigates the truth behind an incident related to the once-a-year village festival, "Cotton Flushing," experienced by a transfer student, Keiichi Maehara.
