TV anime "White Sand Aquatope" to begin airing on July 8, 2021 (Thursday), episode 1 "Tropical Fish, Escaped" synopsis & advance scene cuts released!

The TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand", which will start airing on July 8, 2021 (Thu.) on TOKYO MX and other stations, has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts of the first episode "Tropical Fish, I Escaped".

The TV animation "Aquatope of White Sand" is a completely new original animation by P.A.WORKS. The director is Toshiya Shinohara and the series composition is by Yuko Kakihara. They have worked together on "From Tomorrow in a Colorful World," which depicted the adolescence of girls, and their new work is a story set in a small aquarium in Okinawa.

The first episode "Tropical Fish, I Escaped" of the TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand," which will start airing on July 8, 2021 (Thu.) on TOKYO MX and other stations, has been revealed with a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

A high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, loves sea creatures. She is working hard during the summer vacation to save the "Gamagama Aquarium," for which she is the acting director, from the danger of closing. Meanwhile, Fuka Miyazawa, who quit her job as an idol, arrives in Okinawa ...... with nowhere to go.

In addition, an additional episode will be broadcast every Thursday at 26:05 on Toyama Television Broadcasting.
The first episode will air on Toyama Television Broadcasting from 26:20 on July 15, and the second episode from 26:10 on July 22.
(Please note that the broadcast times of episodes 1 and 2 have been changed due to programming reasons.)

A high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, loves sea creatures. Her mind is occupied with the "Gamagama Aquarium" where she is the deputy director. She works hard during the summer vacation to protect the aquarium, which is in danger of closing. Meanwhile, Fuka Miyazawa, who quit her job as an idol, comes to Okinawa without any idea where to go. After having a strange experience in front of the aquarium, Fuka was asked by Tokuru, "Did you just see that? Tokuru calls out to her, "Did you just see that?

Kukuru quietly tells the secret of the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.

Sometimes, you can see 'mysterious things' here.

Okinawa is bathed in the summer sun.
The aquarium is located about an hour's bus ride from Naha City.
The tiny and somewhat deserted Gamagama Aquarium is located right next to a beautiful beach in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.

An 18-year-old high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, works there with a straight face and dedication.
She loves the aquarium more than anyone else, to the point of calling herself the "director" in place of her grandfather.

One day, Kukuru meets a girl named Fuka Miyazawa, who was shedding tears while shaking her long hair in front of the aquarium.
Fuka had given up her dream of becoming an idol and had come to Okinawa from Tokyo on an aimless getaway.

Slow and gentle time flows at the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.
Seeking a place to belong, Fuka asks to work at the aquarium.

Their daily lives, which were never meant to meet, began to move in this way.

However, along with the "wonder" of the aquarium, it also faces a big problem: the closing crisis.

With a time limit looming, the two begin working to rebuild the aquarium.

To protect an irreplaceable place, a warm haven.
