The "Sword Art Online" series of novels by Reki Kawahara (published by Dengeki Bunko) won the 15th Dengeki Novel Award (Grand Prize). Aniplex Online Fest 2021 "Sword Art Online - Progressive - Aria the Movie: A Night Without Stars <Past and Future>" will be held on Sunday, July 4, 2021. The release date of the film, a new "Aincrad Arc," which is a new story from Asuna's point of view by the original author, Reki Kawahara, has been set for October 30, 2021 (Saturday).
