TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Brave" Season 2 postponed to April 2022.

It was announced that the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield's Hero" Season 2, which was scheduled to start airing in October 2021, has been postponed to April 2022.

The "Rise of the Shield Hero" is a popular light novel by Aneko Yusagi that was first published on the novel submission site "Shosetsu-kaerou" (Novelist) and then published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA) in 2013. Iwatani Naofumi is an otaku college student who is summoned to another world as one of the heroes. He sets out on a journey to train to protect the world, but is betrayed by his friends after only a few days. This fantasy work depicts the rise of a man who lost all his money and position, and a TV anime was broadcast in January 2019.
The anime's production staff includes Masato Jimbo as director, Keigo Koyanagi as series composition, Masahiro Suwa as character design and chief animation director, Hiroki Gobun as sound director, and Kevin Penkin as music. Animation production will be handled by Kinema Citrus/DRMOVIE.
