KARAAGE-KUN Hikari to Yami no Cristal Flavor (Pepper Tartar Sauce Flavor) will go on sale in limited quantities at LAWSON stores nationwide (excluding Natural Lawson and LAWSON STORE100 and some other stores). This is a special product with two layers of contents: a layer of black pepper flavor to symbolize darkness, and a layer of white tartar sauce flavor to symbolize light.

The package depicts KARAAGEKUN dressed as the "Warrior of Light," the hero of FFXIV, with a 3D touch for the first time on a KARAAGEKUN package. The space-inspired design is inspired by a scene from the trailer for "Final Fantasy XIV: Dawn Moon Finale," the latest FFXIV expansion package scheduled for release on November 23, 2021 (Tuesday).

This is the second collaboration between FFXIV and Karaage Kun, following the release of the well-received "Karaage Kun Garlic Burnt Mar-Yu Flavor (Limit Break Flavor)" in 2019. Once again, an original flavor will be developed under the full supervision of the FFXIV development/operation team.

The details of the campaign, including the release date of this product, will be announced in August 2021.
