TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand", episode 2 "Getting wet is part of the job" synopsis & advance scene cuts released!

The second episode "Getting wet is part of the job" of the TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand," which will start airing on TOKYO MX and other stations on July 15, 2021 (Thursday), has been released with a synopsis and advance scene cuts.

The TV animation "Aquatope of White Sand" is a completely new original animation by P.A.WORKS. The director is Toshiya Shinohara and the series composition is by Yuko Kakihara. They worked together on "From Tomorrow in a Colorful World," which depicted the adolescence of girls, and their new work is a story set in a small aquarium in Okinawa.

The synopsis and advance cuts are as follows.

Episode 2 "Getting wet is part of the job

＜Synopsis.
Fuka is hired at the "Gamagama Aquarium" and is welcomed by her uncle and grandmother, Kukuru, and moves in with the Umisakino family. She is more motivated than ever to work during the summer vacation to rebuild the aquarium, which is about to close. The next day, Fuka learns from Kukuru about the harshness of aquarium work, and they put on a penguin feeding show together...!

Kukuru quietly tells the secret of the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.

Sometimes, you can see 'mysterious things' here.

Okinawa is bathed in the summer sun.
The aquarium is located about an hour's bus ride from Naha City.
The tiny and somewhat deserted Gamagama Aquarium is located right next to a beautiful beach in the southern part of Okinawa's main island.

An 18-year-old high school girl, Kukuru Umisakino, works there with a straight face and dedication.
She loves the aquarium more than anyone else, to the point of calling herself the "director" in place of her grandfather.

One day, Kukuru meets a girl named Fuka Miyazawa, who was shedding tears while shaking her long hair in front of the aquarium.
Fuka had given up her dream of becoming an idol and had come to Okinawa from Tokyo on an aimless getaway.

Slow and gentle time flows at the GAMAGAMA Aquarium.
Seeking a place to belong, Fuka asks to work at the aquarium.

Their daily lives, which were never meant to meet, began to move in this way.

However, along with the "wonder" of the aquarium, it also faces a big problem: the closing crisis.

With a time limit looming, the two begin working to rebuild the aquarium.

To protect an irreplaceable place, a warm haven.
