At the "Super Robot Wars: Steel Super Thanksgiving 2021" online event held on Sunday, July 11, 2021, it was announced that "Super Robot Wars 30" for Switch/PS4/STEAM will be released on Thursday, October 28, 2021.

Super Robot Taisen is a simulation RPG series in which robots from various animations come together to fight a common enemy. Many original stories have been developed, including "Mazinger Z/Infinity the Movie," "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam," and "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection. More than 90 titles have been released to date, and the series celebrated its 30th anniversary on April 20, 2021.

The release date of "Super Robot Wars 30" for Switch/PS4/STEAM has been set for October 28, 2021 (Thursday). At the online event "Super Robot Wars: Steel Super Appreciation Festival 2021," the first PV introducing the works and game system to be entered in the series, as well as the series' 30th anniversary website, were also unveiled.

It was also reported that the Super Robot Taisen series was recognized by Guinness World Records as having the "most IP licenses in a role-playing video game series.
