The town of Asakusa is colored by "Blade of Oni no Kensetsu"! Eat, buy, take pictures, and stroll around. ...... Report on the "Blade of Oni no Kensetsu" x Asakusa collaboration event, which started today!

The "Demon Slayer" x Asakusa collaboration event ("Demon Slayer x Asakusa") will take place from July 16, 2021 (Friday) to September 26, 2021 (Sunday).

For "Demon Slayer" fans, Asakusa is an impressive place. It is the place where the main character, Tanjiro Kamado, first visits the city, where Sumijiro first meets the leader of the demon side, Onimai Tsuji Musatsura, and where the key person, Tamayo, who is a demon but cooperates with humans, appears in the story.

Asakusa is the location where "Demon Slayer" collaborated with the "Demon Slayer" event!

The "Demon Slayer x Asakusa" event will feature a "collaboration store" selling original items and food using limited-edition illustrations, the Asakusa area will be decorated with "Demon Slayer" flags, and a keyword rally will be held around Asakusa. The "Demon Slayer" event started today, and the event will be held in Asakusa.

The Akiba Research Institute editorial staff visited the site immediately after the event started today! Let's report on the "Demon Slayer x Asakusa" event.

There is also a photo spot! Collaboration store

Let's start with the collaboration store at the Asakusa View Hotel Annex Roku-ku. The first floor of the hotel is colored in "Demon Slayer" colors.

Upon entering, you will first be greeted by Sumijiro, Nezuko, Tamayo and Yushiro on stage. This is a photo spot where visitors can take pictures as they please.

Next is a photo spot decorated with wisteria flowers. Fans of "Kimetsu" know that demons hate wisteria flowers. The wisteria flowers, which were so beautifully depicted in the anime, seem to have popped right out.

In addition, there is a photo spot where visitors can take commemorative photos with life-size Priestess Nezuko and other pillars.

Let's take photos to commemorate the event!

The collaboration store has an outstanding atmosphere with a display that evokes the festivals of Asakusa!

Looking at the product lineup, there are many products made in collaboration with long-established stores that have stores in Asakusa! It might be a good idea to buy them as souvenirs.

Original food items inspired by the characters are also available for purchase.

During the daytime hours from 10:00 to 16:00, food items will be served in the image of the Onikagitai, and during the evening hours from 16:00 to 20:00, food items will be served in the image of the ogres.

Foods with images of Sumijiro and Nezuko will be available during both hours.
