Anime "YuruCan△" collaborates with the Forestry Agency! Free distribution of "Japan's Beautiful Forests: Recommended National Forests & Camping Book!

The TV anime "YuruCan△" collaborated with the Forestry Agency. The guidebook can be downloaded from the Forestry Agency website and will be distributed nationwide from early August.

The TV animation series "YuruCan△" is a popular work that loosely depicts high school girls camping and going about their daily lives in Yamanashi Prefecture. This collaboration between the series, which has gained support from a wide range of people, including fans of the original work and anime as well as camping fans, and the Forestry Agency, which is involved in various initiatives to protect, nurture, and use the national forests, has been realized.

A guidebook was created to provide information on the attractions of national forests and the campgrounds located within them in an easy-to-understand format for people of all ages. Through the collaboration, we aim to draw the attention of people who have not previously had much interest in forests and outdoor activities.

The guidebook can be downloaded from the Forestry Agency's website today, Thursday, July 15, and will be distributed free of charge from [early August] at events in which the Forestry Agency participates and at outdoor goods stores nationwide.

The cover design of the guidebook was newly drawn and depicts the main characters in the series enjoying camping in a beautiful forest. The contents of the guidebook include information on campsites in the "Beautiful Forests of Japan: Recommended National Forests," mountain climbing, hot springs, nearby attractions, and rules and etiquette in the forests.
