The latest volume 5 of the fantasy manga "Sougou no Freelen," serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (Shogakukan) and winner of the Grand Prize in the "Manga Grand Prize 2021" announced in March this year, was released today, July 16, 2021.

Sougou no Freelen" is a fantasy manga written by Yamada Kaneto and drawn by Abetu Kasa, which is serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (Shogakukan). The work, which depicts a postquel that unravels the "history" of heroes, won the Grand Prize at the "Manga Grand Prize 2021" announced in March of this year.

To commemorate the release of the latest volume 5, a bookstore fair has started at bookstores nationwide, where customers who purchase volumes 1-4 of the work will receive a "Himmel and company: postcard of remembrance" (4 kinds in total), including one illustration newly drawn by Abetsukasa.

Slow playback reveals the details of the memories and the changes in her mind. The dominoes of memories floating in the air were filmed using a special film called "Mothmite.
