Ubisoft has announced "X Defiant," a free-to-play arena shooter game that allows players to enjoy speedy 6 vs. 6 team battles with abilities.

X Defiant" will be available on PS4 / PS5 / Xbox One / Xbox Series X | S and PC download, with full cross-play available upon launch.

For 21 years now, the "Tom Clancy" universe has occupied an important place in Ubisoft's gaming history, attracting gamers with tactical shooters and immersive games. Ubisoft has expanded Tom Clancy's world even further, picking up some of the most famous groups of antagonists from the popular title. They appear as characters in "X-Defiant."

The Ubisoft original is a newly developed competitive FPS that combines fluid, intuitive combat with unprecedented freedom and individuality to provide players with a high-octane gaming experience. The game features both indoor and outdoor maps to represent Tom Clancy's worldview, offering smooth gameplay and unpredictable combat.

The game is being developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, led by FPS expert Mark Rubin (Executive Producer) and Ubisoft San Francisco veteran Jason Schroeder (Creative Director). Offering a completely new experience to Tom Clancy's games, the forces and the characters (Defiant) that make up the force are inspired by Tom Clancy's games and works.
