A gorgeous project has been launched to commemorate the release of the 100th volume of the popular manga "ONE PIECE" (written by Eiichiro Oda) on September 3, 2021.

The project includes the "KIBO DISCOVER PROJECT" jointly developed with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (hereinafter referred to as "JAXA") and its space media business joint demonstration partner Bascule Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Bascule"), a video work presented by a superb team of directors and actors, and other projects to commemorate the world-loved (hereafter, "Bascule"), and the "KIBO DISCOVER PROJECT," a video work presented by a team of superb directors and actors!

The total number of comics sold worldwide has surpassed 490 million copies! The long-awaited 100th volume will be released on September 3!
ONE PIECE," a story spun by Eiichiro Oda, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997, and reached 1,000 episodes on January 4, 2021. In commemoration of this milestone, a worldwide popularity contest for the characters received more than 12 million votes, confirming the popularity of the series not only in Japan but throughout the world.


Encouraged by this excitement, the total number of copies sold overseas has now reached 90 million, and together with the 400 million copies sold in Japan, the total number of copies sold worldwide has surpassed 490 million. In its 24th year of serialization, this unprecedented work will reach another major milestone on September 3, when the 100th volume of the comic book will be released.


To mark this milestone, a special commemorative project was launched today, July 19, to celebrate the 100th volume. Under the catchphrase "WE ARE ONE.", the world will be "connected" through a grand-scale project involving the universe, and the commemorative 100th volume release will be enlivened.


The details of the project will be announced on the "Volume 100 Release Commemorative Site," which will go live on July 19, just before "ONE PIECE" Day (July 22), so don't miss it.

The manga magazine application "Shonen Jump+" and the general e-bookstore "Zeblack" operated by Shueisha will run a campaign from July 19 (Mon.) to September 2 (Thu.), 2021, offering free reading of volumes 1 to 90 in stages. This will be the largest free release in "ONE PIECE" history. Let's take this opportunity to catch up to "WANOKOKOKU"!

In today's issue of JUMP, "Let's find WALL-E! and "ONE PIECE" collaborate!


In the 33rd and 34th combined issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" on sale today, July 19 (Mon.), "Let's find WALL-E! in ONE PIECE" special collaboration poster as an appendix. This special poster searches for WALL-E, his friends, and the Straw Hat gang hidden in the illustration set on Onigashima Island in Wanokuni, where a battle is currently being waged.

MONSTERS", a short story included in "WANTED! Eiichiro Oda's Short Stories", will be adapted into a voice comic with a cast of splendid voice actors. The story of "MONSTERS," which features the legendary samurai Ryuma, is an episode that is related to the "ONE PIECE" series currently being serialized in Japan.
