In this 22nd installment, I will be reviewing the "Petit Sample Series: Winning! The catch copy of the Petit Sample Series this time is "Hitori-sama Meal"!

The theme of this series is original dishes that would look great on SNS and short, gutsy meals prepared by men living alone at home.

I'm tired of the usual convenience store bento ......, so today I'm going to go to the supermarket and buy some prepared foods and make a big bowl of original rice! I'll also buy a beer that costs more than usual.

6: The best collaboration between the supermarket and me.

Yakitori oyakodon using Negima (leeks) that I bought at the supermarket on my way home from work! Short on time and only delicious, it's a definite win-win!

I don't have any money, so I'm going to start the most cost-effective one-person dumpling party. Of course, it's not frozen, it's homemade! I'm not going to freeze them, but make them by hand!

The Petit Sample Series is enjoyable enough as it is, but let's enjoy it even more by adding a few extra touches!

Try adding a smudge!

First of all, let's try smudging the food to make it look more delicious. Anyone can do it as long as you have enamel paint, solvent, and a brush!

The smudging gives a three-dimensional effect to the dish and makes it look as if the flavor has soaked into it even more! The key is to use brown or orange tones instead of pure black.

Let's add a menu

Now, let's try making our own dishes. Guess what I am making?

Tear off some resin clay for crafts that you bought at a 100-yen store, mix it with ochre-colored paint, and connect it. I recommend wearing vinyl gloves to keep your hands clean!

After wrapping the clay around the shredded wood sheet (real wood), shape it with a spatula and other tools while making random bumps on the surface. Finally, mix enamel paint red brown and clear orange in moderation and apply it to the surface in a sticky coat. ......

Completed! What we were making was a jumbo tsukune. Mmmm, looks good!

I put it on a plate of corned beef yukke and it matched very well. It takes a little time and effort, but it is so much fun to make your own miniature food, so please give it a try!
