When TAKE-san played me the song, I thought, "This would be a good fit for a sparkling friendship song! I wrote the lyrics based on the concept of "the best summer to spend with friends, forgetting about love, study, and work.
My favorite part of the song is when the sound changes to a reggae style in the chorus. I sang this part of the song while imagining that everyone was live and moving.
The music video is filled with summer, the ocean, barbecues, and fireworks.

I met Asakika-san at an anime convention in Boston, USA in 2018.
As I was into "Yuru Can△" at the time, I was delighted to hear "SHINY DAYS" live! I was delighted.
The live singing was breathtaking.
Three years have passed since then, and when she asked me directly to provide a song for the project, I started working on it with the hope that we could develop her good points while incorporating expressions and approaches that had never been used before.
