Detective Conan" volume 100 will be released around October 18! An anime adaptation of "Detective Conan: Police Academy Arc" was also announced!

The 100th volume of the popular mystery manga "Detective Conan" serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (Shogakukan) will be released around October 18, 2021. In addition, a TV anime production of "Detective Conan: Wild Police Story" has been decided.

Detective Conan" is a popular mystery manga serialized by Gosho Aoyama in Weekly Shōnen Sunday (published by Shogakukan). Shinichi Kudo, a high school detective, witnesses a deal being made with a mysterious organization and is forced to take poison to keep his mouth shut. The side effects of the poison, unknown to the mysterious organization, cause Shinichi to become a first grader. The film version of the anime was released in 1997.

It was announced that the 100th volume of "Detective Conan" will be released on October 18, 2021. The spin-off manga "Detective Conan: The Criminal, Mr. Criminal Sawawa" volume 6 and "Detective Conan: Zero no Nichijo (Tea Time)" volume 5 will also be released on the same day.


In addition, it was announced in the August 4 issue of "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (36th and 37th) that the 100 volume project will begin, and as one of the projects, a TV anime production of "Detective Conan: Police Academy Arc - Wild Police Story" has been decided. The story of the police academy days of Zero Furuya, Jinpei Matsuda, Kenji Hagiwara, Wataru Date, and Keikou Morofushi will be made into an anime.
