The TV anime "Higurashi When They Cry Graduates" has released the preceding scene cuts from the 8th episode "Part 2: The Possessed Mystery".

Higurashi When They Cry" was first published as a doujin game in 2002, and its interesting puzzle-solving and bizarre scenario became popular, leading to a TV anime adaptation in 2006. In October 2020, it was adapted into a completely new anime "Higurashi When They Cry" and became a topic of conversation, trending on Twitter every week due to its even more shocking development than the previous work.
