The MSX version of "Ha-jaku no seiru" is now available on "PicoPico", an all-you-can-play retro game application!

PicoPico, a retro game play-all-you-can-play application provided by D4 Enterprises, has added "Ha-jaku no seal" (MSX version).

The "Seal of Evil" (1987) is a fantasy RPG representing Kougado Studio in its early days, and is known for its deep worldview, which earned it the title of "interdimensional software" at the time. The game is played on a 2D map, but at the beginning of the game, the map has only a 1 x 1 field of view (only your location).

Combat is based on an encounter system. When you encounter an enemy, you choose your action from options such as "run away," "talk to them," "threaten them," "fight," or "magic items. At the time, monsters were simply to be fought and defeated, but in this title, the ability to enjoy the game of talking to some monsters and gaining information from them was a major attraction.

In addition, this title was outstandingly difficult even among games of the time. There may be some aspects of the game design that put players off, such as the narrowness of the initial field display. However, if you play through the game, you will find that it is an excellent title with a perfect balance as a game overall.

By using the special keyboard, most operations can be performed without flick input. Especially in leveling, where the keyboard is used frequently, this "special keyboard" allows for a natural play experience.

<Story
In a different world from our own, a fantasy world where swords and magic reign supreme.
