Rainbow Six Siege Announces New "Crystal Guard" Season! Test server open & collector's case also available!

The tactical shooter game "Rainbow Six Siege" has released information about "Crystal Guard," the third season of Year 6. In addition to various updates including the reworking of the "Bank," "Coastline," and "Clubhouse" maps, a new operator, military engineer "Osa" from Croatia, will be introduced.

In "Crystal Guard," a new attacker named "Osa" appears, equipped with a Talon-8 clear shield! The Talon-8 clear shield is a transparent bulletproof shield that can be placed on the ground, door frames, window frames, etc. The shield can be moved in hand if necessary, but has certain limitations such as weapon storage, sprinting, and not being able to get down.
Osa is a medium speed, medium armor operator with a 556 Xl or PDW9 as his main weapon and a PMM as his subweapon.

In addition, the "Bank," "Coastline," and "Clubhouse" maps have been rebuilt from the ground up, and have been enhanced for balance, environmental destruction, sound spread, and lighting. In "Crystal Guard," these maps have been rebalanced, and in "Coastline," the location of the first-floor reception bomb has been changed to the first-floor service entrance, and new locations have been added. In the "Bank," new alleys are being created, and in the "Clubhouse," new streets are being built.

In terms of environmental destruction, destructible areas have been added to the "Bank" and the "Coastline". In the "Bank," the railing of the second-floor stairwell, and in the "Coastline," the exterior wall of the second-floor VIP lounge.

The test servers for Crystal Guard and Osa go live today, August 17, 2021, and August 18, 2021, respectively.
The test server is a version of Rainbow Six Siege that will test the new gameplay additions to Rainbow Six Siege. Since the game will be played in a test environment, it may differ from actual gameplay. If you experience the test server version, please share your feedback.
