Sony Interactive Entertainment will release "Call of Duty: Vanguard" software for PS5/PS4 in Japan on November 5, 2021.

In addition, from today, August 20 (Fri.), pre-orders for this title will be accepted at PlayStation retailers nationwide, various e-commerce sites, PS Store, and the in-game stores for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, and Call of Duty: Warzone. The pre-order of this title has started sequentially at the PS Store, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone in-game stores.

In the immersive single-player campaign mode, soldiers from different countries and regions join forces to fight the greatest threat in human history.
Players can also compete online against players from around the world in the Call of Duty series' renowned multiplayer mode, or join forces with friends to fight hordes of the dead in Treyarch's new Zombies mode*.

After launch, the game will continue to offer a number of free features, including game world integration with the free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone title, cross-progression and cross-generational play, new multiplayer maps and modes, seasonal events, community anniversary celebrations, and more. The game will continue to add free content through updates.

Online multiplayer requires an Internet connection and PS Plus subscription (a subscription service that is charged on an ongoing basis).

PS Store/In-Game Store

On the PS Store, you can pre-order Call of Duty Vanguard for PS4 and the Call of Duty Vanguard CrossGen Bundle, which can be played on either PS5 or PS4, as well as the Task Force One Pack and Battle Pass Bundle, which can also be played on either PS5 or PS4. The Call of Duty Vanguard Ultimate Edition, which can be played on either PS5 or PS4 and also includes the Task Force One Pack, Battle Pass Bundle, and more, is now available for pre-order.

The Ultimate Edition can also be pre-ordered from the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, or Call of Duty: Warzone in-game stores.
Pre-orders from these in-game stores will include a 10-tier Battle Pass skip that can be used immediately in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone as a pre-order bonus.

The various downloadable versions that can be pre-ordered from the PS Store and in-game store will include the Frontline Weapon Pack in addition to the full game.

Pre-orders will also include early access to the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard Open Beta on PS5/PS4, the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone operator Arthur King Three, as well as a Mastercraft weapon design. Three" and the mastercrafted weapon blueprint "Night Raid" for use in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" and "Call of Duty: Warzone" are included.

Pre-orders for the "Call of Duty: Vanguard" package for PS5 and PS4 are now being accepted at PlayStation retailers and various e-commerce sites nationwide.
