Call of Duty: Vanguard" Alpha Test to Begin Saturday, August 28! Pre-download begins!

Alpha test will be held from 2:00 a.m. Japan time on August 28, 2021 (Sat.) to 2:00 a.m. on August 30, 2021 (Mon.).

Aerial combat in the Pacific, drop operations in France, sniping in the defense of Stalingrad, and forced breakthroughs on the North African front. The extremely popular FPS "Call of Duty" series returns with "Call of Duty: Vanguard" developed by Sledgehammer Games.

This alpha test does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription and is open to all PS5/PS4 players 18 and older by downloading "Call of Duty Vanguard - CHAMPION HILL Alpha" for free from the PS Store.
(Credit card registration to your PlayStation Network account is required for the download).

Prior to the event, "Call of Duty Vanguard - CHAMPION HILL Alpha" will be available for pre-download on the PS Store from August 23 (Mon.).

*Alpha test content has received a CERO rating of "Regulation Conforming," but the full version to be released in November is expected to have the same rating of "Z" (only for players 18 and older) (as of August 2021, "to be reviewed").
Therefore, in order to use this content, it is necessary to be certified that the user is 18 years of age or older, and credit card registration is required as a way to do so.
An Internet connection and a PSN account are required to play.

Alpha Test Overview: Be among the first to play "CHAMPION HILL!

The Call of Duty Vanguard - CHAMPION HILL Alpha will allow players to be among the first to play CHAMPION HILL, part of the Call of Duty Vanguard multiplayer experience that will be available in the beta test scheduled for September.
This new mode, in which small teams of players will battle each other in a tournament format, is one of the many new multiplayer modes that will be added to the game.

Outline of CHAMPION HILL
Players form squads of 2 or 3 players to fight 2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3 battles.
Eight teams will clash in a tournament. The winner is the team that survives to the end.
Players can purchase upgrades and weapons during the rounds between matches to prepare for the next match.
Four maps prepared for the "CHAMPION HILL" mode can be experienced in the alpha.

This alpha is a unique opportunity to enjoy the latest in the popular FPS series, and to be among the first to experience the newest and most advanced version of this title. We hope you will feel free to participate.

Call of Duty: Vanguard" for PS5/PS4 is scheduled to hold two open beta tests in September, following this alpha test.

The first will be held on PS5 and PS4 from Saturday, September 11 at 2 a.m. to Tuesday, September 14 at 2 a.m. Those who pre-order one of the digital editions of "Call of Duty: Vanguard" for PS5/PS4 and the packaged version of "Call of Duty: Vanguard" for PS5/PS4 Those who pre-order the packaged version from Amazon.co.jp, GEO and GEO Online, Joshin and Joshin web store will be able to play the game with early access.

The second round will be held on PS5 and PS4 from Friday, September 17 at 2:00 a.m. to Tuesday, September 21 at 2:00 a.m. All PS5/PS4 players 18 years old and older are eligible to participate.
