More details have been released about the new "Rainbow Six" series "Rainbow Six Extraction," scheduled for release in January 2022 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC.

Rainbow Six Extraction," led by Ubisoft Montreal's development team, will feature a deep operator progression system, four difficulty levels, 12 ever-evolving maps, 13 unpredictable missions, a total of over 90 weapons and gadgets, and unique ranked modes and The game will be available to Rainbow Six Siege players and those looking for a new PvE Co-op game.

Confront the mysterious life form Archien! 12 different maps and 13 different missions!
Players will team up with one to three of "Rainbow Six Siege's" popular operators as a REACT team and face off against the mysterious alien life form, the Archien.
Equipped with over 65 weapons, 10 "Rainbow Six Siege" techs, and 15 new REACT techs, the operators are ready to take on the Archieen. Players who are new to the "Rainbow Six" series and prefer to play at their own pace can choose to play solo from beginning to end.

Players must confront Parasite on 12 unique and unpredictable maps in four different regions of the United States, including New York City and San Francisco. Each map is roughly three times the size of a Rainbow Six Siege map, with unique compensations to ensure a different experience each time.
Players can also enjoy 13 different missions, including "Gateway," a mission where they fight the Archieen in the form of REACT operators called Protians.

Players can progress through 18 Rainbow Six operators via a custom level system, advancing the operators' equipment, weapons, and abilities. As they level up, they can unlock new blockade zones, operators, customized items, new REACT tech, higher difficulty levels, and more.

There are 13 types of dangerous archenemies, erosion areas, parasite mutation challenges, various types of infiltration missions, and a variety of elements including nests, spores, sprawl, and more. Completing the objectives assigned in "Rainbow Six Extraction" will force you to make difficult decisions. Retrieve the target and return to base to reap the rewards, or go deeper and fight tougher enemies for greater rewards. ...... Depending on your decision, your fellow operators may be left behind in the blocked zone and become missing.
To rescue the missing operators, you will need to form a new squad and go on another rescue mission. For those who wish to take on more difficult challenges, there is a PvE system called "Maelstrom Mode," details of which will be released soon.

Owners of the PlayStation4 version of "Rainbow Six Extraction" (packaged and digital versions) can upgrade to the PS5 version for 100 yen (tax included).
To play the upgraded PS5 digital version of "Rainbow Six Extraction" on PS5, the PS4 disc of "Rainbow Six Extraction" that you purchased must be in your PS5.
You must have a PS5 to upgrade from the disc version; upgrades are not available for the PS5 Digital Edition. Digital Editions are available as both PS4 downloadable and PS5 downloadable versions.
