Wonder Festival 2021 [Autumn], a figure festival scheduled to be held on September 20, 2021 (Monday, national holiday), has been canceled. The circumstances and alternative events were announced.

Wonder Festival is one of the world's largest figure and modeling festivals, now in its 36th year, and has been held at Makuhari Messe since 2009 (summer). It is a major event that attracts great interest not only from domestic but also from overseas fans.

The 2021 event was scheduled to be held on September 20 (Monday, national holiday), but in light of the rapid increase in the number of people infected with the new coronavirus, the expansion of areas declared under a state of emergency, and the tight situation at medical facilities, it was announced today, August 23, that the event has been canceled after giving the highest priority to safety.


At the same time, an online event is currently being planned to avoid losing the opportunity for participants to present and sell their works.

We have decided to cancel the "Wonder Festival 2021 [Autumn]" that was scheduled to be held on September 20, 2021 (Monday, national holiday).


We have been working closely with all parties concerned to prepare for the event by taking all necessary measures against new coronavirus infections. However, in light of the expansion of areas declared a state of emergency due to the rapid increase in the number of infected people over the past few days and the tight situation in the medical field, we have decided that we cannot hold the event, as many people from all over Japan are expected to attend the event, and we have given top priority to everyone's safety.


We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to those who had planned to exhibit and participate in the event.


Refunds for general admission tickets will be made directly at your nearest LAWSON or MINISTOP store. Regardless of the payment method, please issue a refund ticket at the store and complete the refund procedure at the cashier.

The date of ticket issuance was announced as 9/11 (Sat) from 10:00am, but it will be changed to 8/26 (Thu). Please issue tickets and complete the refund procedure as is.

In addition, we are planning an alternative online event to avoid losing the opportunity to present and sell works of art for dealers who have been working on their works for the day of the event.
