Namco Bandai Entertainment Inc. has released Little Nightmare 2 Enhanced Edition for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC DIGITAL versions of Little Nightmare 2.

Little Nightmare 2" is a suspense adventure game in which the player controls a young boy named Mono in a world ruled by radio towers.
Together with "Six," a girl wearing a yellow raincoat, the two go to the radio tower to uncover the source of the evil that spreads through the world via television. However, the residents of the town are waiting for them... Solve puzzles, avoid traps, and fight off enemies as you aim for the radio tower.

Following the already released PS4, Switch, Xbox ONE, and PC DIGITAL versions of "Little Nightmare 2," the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC DIGITAL versions of "Little Nightmare 2 Enhanced Edition" have now been released.

Those who already own the PS4 version of this title can upgrade to the PS5 version, and those who already own the Xbox One version can upgrade to the Xbox Series X|S version at no additional cost; those who already own the PC DIGITAL version can get the "Enhanced Edition" as an update.
(PS4 owners will not be able to upgrade to the PS5 Digital Edition.)

What is the Enhanced Edition?

The "Enhanced Edition" has several enhancements over the original version.
Two modes are available. In Performance mode, the game can be enjoyed at 2160p & 60fps, and in Beauty mode, the game can be enjoyed at 4K resolution & 30fps.

The details are as follows; these features can be customized for the PC version.

■Beauty Mode
Optimized ray tracing allows you to enjoy 4K resolution & 30fps.

■Performance Mode
Fix the game at 60fps. Dynamic resolutions up to 4K are supported to maintain 60fps with ray tracing.

■Light reflection by ray tracing
Highly accurate rendering improves the expression of light reflection on glossy surfaces.

Volumetric Shadows
Shadows are better rendered by increasing the resolution of volumetric shadows.

Interactive Particles
In Mono, Six, and major enemy characters, particles and dust particles dynamically interact with the character's movements.
They swim and swirl behind the character, creating a more realistic and immersive environment.

■ Immersive Audio
An immersive 3D spatial audio mix provides an even deeper immersive experience when listening with a 5.1ch/7.1ch audio system or headphones.

Beauty Mode" is only available in the PS5/ Xbox Series X|S version; in the PC DIGITAL version, all graphics settings can be changed individually in the Settings->Advanced Settings menu.
