Sunrise Festival 2021 REGENERATION," an annual event in which Sunrise, which has produced numerous animation works, will be held for 18 days from October 1 (Fri.) to 31 (Sun.), 2021, at movie theaters. The venue will be TOHO CINEMAS MUSEUM. The event will be held at three theaters in Tokyo, including TOHO CINEMAS SHINJUKU, Shinjuku Piccadilly, and Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro, which will participate in the event for the first time.

Sunrise Festival" is an annual screening event that Sunrise has been holding since 2010 in collaboration with movie theaters. Sunrise, which has been creating original IP (Intellectual Property) centering on animation for more than 40 years, will screen anniversary films and films requested by fans from its abundant IP portfolio every day at movie theaters, and will also hold guest talk shows. In 2020, the event will be held online instead of in theaters, and in 2021, it will return to theaters to not only recapture the enjoyment of 2019, but also to regenerate as a new event with new value added.

Sunrise and NAMCO BANDAI Pictures have announced the lineup of films that will appear in the "Sunrise Festival 2021 REGENERATION" screening event.

The lineup includes such classic works as "Doriface!" and "Gintama! and "Gintama", as well as the latest works such as "SCARLET NEXUS" and "The Magus Hero Den Wataru: Ryujinmaru of the Seven Souls -Reunion-", which will make their first appearance.
In addition to the anniversary commemorative films, "Mobile Suit Gundam" theater trilogy will be screened in 4K for the first time, and "Love Live!

The festival will run for a total of 18 days from October 1 (Fri.) to 31 (Sun.), 2021.
Venues will be TOHO CINEMAS SHINJUKU, Shinjuku Piccadilly, and three other Tokyo theaters, including Grand Cinema Sunshine Ikebukuro, which will be participating for the first time.

Talk show guests will be added one after another, and ticket information will be announced at a later date.

The illustrations were newly drawn by Hidetoshi Fujii, an up-and-coming illustrator active in the field of card illustrations for Battle Spirits, and feature Amuro Ray and Gundam from "Mobile Suit Gundam," Himaru Utsunomiya and Himebren from "Bren Powered," Nezir Nezir and Hebot! Eucalyptus flowers, which symbolize life force, dance all over the display, creating a vivid and gorgeous finish.

Sunfest Radio Re-Re-Re-Generation" will be broadcast on the YouTube Sunrise Channel on the eve of the event.
In the program, voice actor Ryutaro Okiayu, who was the navigator at last year's Sunfest, will make an appearance to liven up this year's Sunfest, the first real Sunfest to be held in two years. Producer Hiroomi Iketani of Sunrise and GM Takanori Ito of Namco Bandai Pictures will be the guests for a deep talk.
